| Notes | Although this is a high mileage car, the interor and exterior shows that this car has been maintained to a high standard, and seems to have been garaged all its life. All paint original, paint meter averaged 4.5 on all panels. Front bumpers show life of rock chips, as well as on hood, rear bumper clear coat is coming off. On a newer car this might deduct from value, but on a car this age, it shows the car has not been repainted due to accidents. Did find oil leak at lower part of engine, looks to be coming from oil pan. Interior wear is light given age, front driver seat bolster has small hole, shifter shows wear, and steering wheel has been recovered in suede, but color is faded. Headliner has been replaced, but color on sunroof felt is red instead of black. Radio locked in code mode as battery was disconnected before inspection, and seller did not have radio card code avalible. Test drive found no abnormal noises, suspension felt tight and engine power and accerleration was very good. Would recommend replacement of rear tires, at 2/32nds, and mismatched brand from new front tires. Brake rotors show large lip, pads 4mm in front and rear, should also be replaced soon, although no braking pusation or noise was present at test drive. 5 speed transmission shifted well in all gears, no slipping, grinding or vibration. Aftermarket Stromung exhasut , and front corner lamp housing. Overall a nice looking and driving future classic sports car. |
